Kaimanahila

Mount Leahi, also known as Diamond Head, is the most recognized image of Hawaii
greeting visitors and Kama’aina as they arrive to our Island State.

This historic property is located at the base of Diamond Head, known as Kaimanahila. Designed by C.W. Dickey and originally built by the owner’s grandmother in 1926, it has remained in the family and is now a gathering place for many generations to come together and enjoy. When we first took on the project, the home had extensive termite and water damage. A major renovation took place where we were able to maintain the integrity of the architecture while bringing everything up to code. We were also able to save some of the furnishings and incorporate them into the new design scheme. Fabrics and furnishings were chosen to reflect the client’s Hawaiian heritage.
